|
The
Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahayan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation
has come to crown the successful advancement of the United Arab
Emirates at all levels, and to form a new link of the charitable
chain whose values have been deeply-rooted in the spirit of this
good people by His Highness Shaikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al-Nahyan,
President of the U. A. E., backed by his confidence in the principles
of our islamic faith and arabian originality.
The proclamation of the establishment of the foundation on 5th August, 1992 has come to show the wisdom and the foresight of the leader and the desire of His Highness to develop the mechanism of the charitable deeds in this country and to promote it to the same level it has attained in other parts of the world, and to confirm his determination to help and support all those in need in the east and west by employing modern developed systems. Since it became functional in the charitable and humanitarian fields, the foundation has diversified its operational fields by contributing in all types of charity in coordination with the national and international organizations, in order to promote the presence of the United Arab Emirates on all international charitable and humanitarian boards. The Foundation has performed, since its establishment, several benefits and achievements, which depicted it as a charitable and humanitarian minaret shedding lights of welfare upon all gray areas in this world; this motivates us today to proceed ahead confidently and sincerely to promote and multiply these achievements guided by wise directives of His Highness Shaikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al-Nahayan, President of the U.A.E., and supported by His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al-Nahayan, Crown-prince of Abu Dhabi, and daily follow-up by His Excellency Shaikh Ahmed Bin Zayed Al-Nahayan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees. |
